Getting to Know Mrs. Adams
Hello and welcome to my classroom website!
My name is Kim Adams, and I am a kindergarten teacher in St. Charles, MO at Central Elementary School, in the Francis Howell School District. This will be my 23rd year of teaching. All of my teaching years have been at Central Elementary! I taught Remedial Math for one year, third grade for nine years, and this is my thirteenth year in kindergarten. I attended Francis Howell School District as a child, starting at Becky-David Elementary in first grade, attending Barnwell Middle, and graduating from Francis Howell High School. I attended Lindenwood University and received a Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education. I received my Masters in Elementary Education from Lindenwood, as well. I also have an Early Childhood certification.
My hobbies are reading, cooking, and playing the piano. I am married to a wonderful husband, Jesse. We have two terrific sons. Caleb is 19 years old and Lukas is 17 years old. Caleb is in the Army National Guard and attends Lindenwood University. Lukas is a senior at Fort Zumwalt West High School. Both of my sons enjoy playing baseball, so we spend a lot of time at the ball field. I have a dog named Max.
I look forward to getting know each of my students and their families. I know that this is going to be a terrific year!
